Who We Are

After more than 30 years of commercial and captive insurance experience Dennis has turned his attention to a small cadre of clients to provide customized services to help in the establishment, growth and ongoing management of their insurance businesses.  During his career Dennis has worked for National Interstate Insurance Company, a truck and bus specialty company offering traditional and captive insurance products, for CNA Insurance Company, Cedar Consulting LLC, a captive insurance consulting and management company, and Davies Captive Management.  He has served as a member of the board of directors and in various officer roles for VCIA, ICCIE and the commercial and captive insurance companies he has worked with.  He is a 15 year member of the faculty for the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE).

After retiring from Davies Captive Management in 2023 Dennis is interested in continuing his consulting practice with a small cadre of clients offering his experience to assist in evaluating captive insurance opportunities and improving the operational characteristics of existing companies.
